I dont know how to confirm the document you attached. I tried to go
there and it gave me an antivirus, there is no button or place to confirm
anything. Please could you explain how can I “confirm” it or what do
you mean by confirm it or what do I need to do in order to not to lose
my account.

All of a sudden I have been infected with what seems to me to be a pretty bad virus. So far it has denied me acces to many internet sites, changed internet settings, deleted programs, installed anti virus programs, all types of fake alerts that will not go away such as (System alert:malware threats, you may be infected with backdoor trojans) etc. Also i get a new warning every 5 seconds, and the internet opens up to different sites trying to sell me anti virus software on average of 1 internet per 3 minutes. Also i have borwsed the internet and they have all said to get these programs to eliminate it, but the virus wont let me download and programs from the internet, it says my “Security setting will not allow me to download this” which is new and must be the virus. I also am unable to do a complete reformat because i dont have the disk anymore :O and when i use my Telus eProtect to scan for viruses it finds many and i delete them but i still always have the problem. please help me.

And still whenever i try and download one of your programs to fix this it says “your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded” i think this is the first step to solving my problems.

I also am unable to do a complete reformat because i dont have the disk anymore :O it also says restarting and than it pretends to restart but when it does it says this software is counterfit and u need to purchase a subscription.I cant take it off of my add or remove programs it is in a seperate file and it wont remove.

5 hours ago from now i was surfing my browswer and just looking at things. I always pay attention to everything and i make sure I never install anything that’s harmful or something i dont trust. Like if i want to install an update or some other stuff I’ll always go on the official Microsoft website to do so.
I was on google, surfing. I typed in the rarest diablo 2 items (Diablo 2 is an rpg for those who don’t know that). And so i looked around, i clicked on a few websites. My computer was fine, then when i finally clicked on a 3rd one ( it was called something like maxfreak) (DO NOT GO ON IT), my firefox browser failed. So i was like, okay this happens every 2 weeks and now. I re-opened my firefox. Everything was still fine. Then on my right, this crap popped up, must install security system, 3000 threats found!) Ok I didn’t fall for that so i blocked it because I know that it was an unkown publisher. But even when i ignored it ( i didn’t press anything on it or related to it) That crap still coming back, another window popped up. So I started to realize some sh!t was happening. So i moved fast, i quickly turned on my anti virus scan. I made sure my firewall was on, and so i waited untill i could find something. A friend recommended me that i downloaded the latest malwarebytes system. Before I did, my antivirus system started going crazy, I could tell that sh!t was done for, it got infected. So it was a race against time, i couldn’t install the malware byes ( anti malware system) my friend uses it, its safe. because apparently the VIRUS wouldn’t allow me to install it. So i kept moving on. i installed another program which i knew was safe. I managed to do that, and then i managed to find what was wrong. I had over 300 small viruses, malware and trojans ( by just going onto 1 website). I was scared, seriously, so i did my best i removed everything. My computer went back to normal. I thought it was over? It looked like it, everything was perfect. i clicked again my my firefox.. ERROR CANNOT FIND FILE ERROR. I clicked on one of my games (starcraft, diablo 2) ERROR CANNOT FIND FILE. i clicked on itunesk adope, ANYTHING, nothing is working. So i quickly moved on, i did the recovery system from before when i visited that website. and guess what it finished, and i still got ERROR everywhere. I tried to think what to do, i realized if i right clicked on a program and made it run, adminstator, it would then run!! The virus was still nowhere in sight, i think i deleted it all. But then your probably thinking? Hey why not go on the properties ( and check the box ( run as admin…). Yes i did that, but it still gives me that ERROR. I have to always right click a program to make it start.
The exact error text says.. Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.
Can someone please help me? I will give you1 best answer if you find solution? I will give you 3 best answer if you help me solve it (finally). How? i will make 2 more question (random and just give you the best answer in the end). Please don’t tell me to call microsoft, they aren’t going to do crap!! I don’t think i can re-install the system, since i upgraded it form windows vista to windows 7. Please help me!! I am not a computer expert!

my laptop was fine and never had any virus, just recently i noticed Anti virus soft pop up on my laptop and its causing pop ups, lag, really slow loading, constantl security warnings stopping me from typing until i clikc yes or no etc..

i tried using spyhunter which stated i had 42 threats on my laptop from a trojan horse, a keylogger, a password stealer and spyware etc, however i couldnt fix the problems because it was still scanning after 8 hours and was on 48%

is there any programme i can use to remove this virus and not have to sit through hours of scanning?

i need to use this laptop for college work, so this is something i need to fix pretty fast, thank you

This morning, my browser closed and I got a message telling me I had a security threat, and that I need to click OK to scan my computer. Now later in the day, both McAfee and Avast! say there’s nothing there. Was that a advanced type of virus or was there nothing really there?

I am using Kaspersky anti virus, and it has detected it on my computer some time ago. The anti virus doesn’t seem to be able to remove it automatically, and I have no idea how to do it myself. (I am a complete newbie). Please help!

My computer is running Windows XP SP3, fully updated. I was browsing the internet on Firefox when the window minimised for a second, then came back up. My taskbar the disappeared and this “Download FLV player” window came up fullscreen. It took control of the mouse, playing what looked like an animated sequence in which it agreed to terms of use agreements and toolbar installs and then it appeared to download FLV player. I had no control over the mouse at this point and every attempt to press ctrl+alt+del brought up the task manager for a second but the it disappeared before I had a chance to do anything. The only way to get control back was to hard shutdown my computer with the power button and start it again to find the FLV player icon on my desktop. I ran scans with Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware which found nothing, the I uninstalled it with Revo Uninstaller and that didn’t find any extra files or registry keys. Everything was going grand until about 2 hours later when the exact same window came up and took control again. This time MS Security Essentials said it had found a threat but I had no control over the mouse to click the “Clean computer” button. Another hard restart and I cleaned the 2 threats Security essentials had found ( A trojan downloader “Harnig.s” and a trojan dropper Bamital.C). The FLV player icon is still on my desktop and I’m afraid to touch it in case anything happens.
Is there anyone else who is having/has had the same problems? Any advice on how to deal with it?

Sorry if the question is a little hard to read, I’m having to type thins quickly in case the virus starts up again.

Ok there’s this bubble in the bottom right part of the screen (I think that’s called the task bar) and it says automatic updates is turned off and it tells me how to fix it. So in the control panel it says automatic updates is on and the bubble is still there. It’s like a shield shaped type of thing that opens up Windows Security Center. How do I get rid of this? I’ve scanned my computer with AVG and Spybot and gotten rid of all the threats so what do I do now?
