I want to connect my laptop to the desktop computer’s network wirelessly but I don’t know how. On my laptop its connect router’s network but I can’t connect it to the desktop’s network. There’s two separate networks but I can get both computers connected to one. Is there a way to do that? The desktop computer is connect to the cable modem and the router. When I log on, I can access the Internet; however, whenever anyone else tries to log into my Internet, everyone gets kicked off and/or the Internet access says Local only. What is happening? I have the wireless set up to say “Connection Type: Automatic Configuration – DHCP .” My Internet provider is Comcast. HELP!

There is an orange light over the Cisco Systems sign that is usually not on or blue. The router will not read my wireless network. I’ve had the computer and router for a 1 and 1/2 years and this is the first problem ever. I have not moved or changed anything.

I need to know how to block those two only and all their features text messages and audio calls, it is even better if they don’t connect at all.

Why ?

I need to stop my students from chatting while in class.

I am not a computer newbie, I know there are some ports that you can block from your router that these programs use, and thus stopping them only and not web browsing.
