Alright I just need some thoughts from some of you really helps me think. Well here is my dilemma simply I am a nerd, i enjoy my video games. I work on the computer a lot, and working to become a artist in game industry.

Well my problem comes that I can’t ever seem to find someone into my type. I know they are out there I talk to girls several people online who are into to guys like me they say im sweet. I am a very caring person, and if they ask a favor I do it when I can. I am there to talk when they need it. I just can’t find girls in my area. The girls I do meet online say they would love a guy like me and thats great but all are over seas and I cannot seem to find one here if my life depended on it.

All the girls I have liked plain and simply are into the jerks or bad boys and I just become friends and thats about it. Which I realize they are not really my type anyways.

Where are all you girls that into guys like me the mr. nice guys.. the nerds? How can I look for them?

My computers motherboard is gone as the bios software does not even start any more… I’d like to buy a new motherboard but I am not sure which kind to buy… any ideas or suggestions?

I have all the minimum requirements besdies the processor for FFXIV. My processor is a AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3200+. I need a AMD Athlon 2X Processor. Can I do something to upgrade my processor without having to get another computer?! I know theres a bunch of processors I could get but how do I know which one?!

I just don’t want to buy a processor and it wont fit into my motherboard. Do they come in certain sockets and can i put a AMD processor into my Intel motherboard and can i put a 64 bit processor into it? i need to know how to find this stuff out

I graduated with a computer science degree. I was unable to get a IT job 7 years ago, so I started in real estate. Now real estate is having some well-publicized problems, and I’d like to get back into IT. I was hoping to find more RAM but i’m not really good with computers. If anyone knows a good place to buy RAM and the RIGHT kind for my computer that would be awesome! I also don’t know how to install it…but as long as I know what RAM to buy I can figure it out.

My computer will not work anymore. I had a friend try to reformat it so that it would work again and he told me that there is something wrong with the hard drive. I bought this laptop a few years ago from Gateway and now I am trying to figure out how I know what type of hard drive to buy to replace the old one. I do not even know where to begin on what I need to know to buy a new hard drive. Please help….

Hey everyone… I’d reeeeally like some advice. I’m looking to buy a new computer capable of gaming & running Windows Vista… so I need it to be pretty high performance. Of course, I’d like to stay on a budget as much as possible… so searching around I found a computer with the option to make payments in installments. It seems to have pretty much everything I need, all I’ll need to add are video and sound cards.

My main question is just what the subject line says… how important is the manufacturer of the computer? This one is made by a company called Mirus who I can’t seem to find much information on. A few sites have suggested that users “stay away” from Mirus, but I’m not sure if that’s only because of customer support issues, or if it has something to do with the computer actually breaking down or something drastic like that.

So, if the computer has all the right hardware in it, does it really matter who put it together?
