This year we were able to establish strong and clear relations with the administration of the oncology department of the regional hospital in Stara Zagora, and as a result of our cooperation. we started a series of basic computer training for medical workers. With the first group we had a very though schedule – we had lectures every day for a few weeks, and then it was time for the final exam. Everyone was nervous – the students, because they did not know whether they have acquired enough knowledge to succeed on the test, and me as a teacher – because I wanted to see good results, thus knowing that I have done my best to teach these smart professionals. I was glad at the end, because the results were really good. I encouraged the group that the theoretical knowledge of computers is good, but what is more important is for them to have solid practical computer skills. I hope that I was able to teach them practical lessons that will help and enhance their professional performance. Thankfully, everyone did fairly well on the test, and we distributed certificates and a gift (a book on creation and evolution, written by a Christian author). Now we are expecting the next group – the people who will have the chance to delve deeper into the world of the computer technologies: )
