Unless you know what the two symbols I am looking for are.
One of them is a rectangle with two circles that look like Mercedes badges, one with a thick outline and there is a thin line linking them
and the other looks like a disk drive with a circle above it.

when i got my computer the owner before put windows xp on it.the original is vista so the xp wasnt working right so i put vista back on it with a windows anytime upgrade disc and it worked fine up til now, its asking me for a product key and when i put the one thats on my computer in it tells me i cant use that one and to either find the product key for vista home basic or restart my computer and restart in with another program. and since this popped up i cant even get nto my computer until i enter a valid product key.so how can i fix this?

For some reason my Kodak easy share C813 digital camera records .mov files that can only be opened with quicktime. I tried to open up the file in windows movie maker hoping to change it to a wma or something else, but it says this:

The file C:UsersRobynDesktop100_0559.MOV cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.

So my question is… How do I find the right codec and how do I install it into my computer. I have vista… if that matters.

I’m a writer, a photographer, and I love to download. I’m looking for a computer that has a lot of space, one terabyte would be preferable. I would also like at least two usb drives in the front of my desktop, and more in the back. I listen to music, so good speakers would be awesome. As for the brand, I’m not picky. My favorite is Hp, but absolutely no Dell. The price can be no higher than $2,000. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

I’m just now getting around to explore my Plextor PlexWriter 12/10/32A. The Plextor website indicates I must purchase “recording software” somewhere else.

I’ve tried 14 websites with no success…

Is there a connection between Plextor and Acer…Adaptec (I have a Jaz drive and SCSI in another computer, but not this one)

No I’m not connected using USB…

I’m running W98SE on an AMI Megathon with AMD Slot A 750

Plextor wrote back asking for whatever err msg…OAKCDROM doesn’t contain info about my PlexWriter

Plextor, like most non-legacy devices, installed great as a CD-R…

I’m baffled why Plextor doesn’t include the SW when I buy the burner…

I have a Gateway GT5426E tower with an Integrated Intel 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN network adapter. This computer first came with Vista but I just put XP on it and can’t find the right driver anywhere. Now I have no internet access and can’t do anything on that computer. Any help as to where I can get the driver and anything else I might need to connect to the internet?
