please help me.. i have a cable internet access in one of my laptop here in our home..but i only used it twice a week so i decided to lend it to my cousin who has also a laptop so that i can maximize what i have paid every month. but when i connect the modem to her laptop the network does not seems to identify it and the it cannot identify any connection.. what should i do?? do you have any idea with it..sorry i am only a newbie with computers but please help me.. any suggestion ,tips and,help will deeply appreciated..im from philippines and my internet provider is comclark..THANKS!!

I want to connect my laptop to the desktop computer’s network wirelessly but I don’t know how. On my laptop its connect router’s network but I can’t connect it to the desktop’s network. There’s two separate networks but I can get both computers connected to one. Is there a way to do that? The desktop computer is connect to the cable modem and the router. when i did the network wizard never asked for a password NO password is used on ANY computer for network or to log into windows WHY would it ask for a password?

Apparently you dont really need the disc/cd for it
but i lost it ages ago, so i plug in my webcam
my computer does’nt find the harddrive but like i said befor apperently you dont really need the disc for it
it should naturally find it, right ? if not
is there something to download for it

I have two laptops running on the same network in my house. One is mine and the other is my sisters. How can I connect to hers via mine?

I open up Network(I am running on Vista fyi) and I located her computer but when I try to connect to it a box pops up asking me to log in. I tried using my log in credentials but it said they were incorrect and her computer does not have a log in password or anything. How can I connect?

The network has WEP security. I know the password to the network. When I try to connect to the network via computer it asks for a USERNAME and password. I try everything for username and it never works. But with my iphone, I only have to type in the password and it connects. Why is this? How do I get my computer to not ask for username? Or does the iphone have a default username it uses? Thanks

My laptop turns on, and it is connected to a wireless network automatically. Then, when I put my computer to sleep. When I awaken it, I have to manually connect back 80% of the time. I know the inconvenience is only minor, but could I configure my laptop so it always connects when awoken.

im trying to connect my windows xp to my windows vista. i tried several ones but they dont work for me. i already had both computer connect using cable and hub so both of my computers can go on to internet, please do not tell me to buy this and that OTHER than cables, specific and simple procedures please. thank you.
