My boyfriend recently started getting into learning about computer networking so I thought I could get him a book about it for a birthday gift. I want to build a gaming desktop computer very badly. However, my budget is only $1000. Could somebody tell me the parts I need to buy (that are compatible with each other) so that I could build a gaming computer? Also, the computer has to be able to run high quality games. I am a newbie at building computer so if somebody could recommend a site or something to me that tells me how to make the computer, thank you!
Also, I forgot to mention, I would preferably like the parts to be available on amazon.com since my dad usually doesn’t trust other websites. Thanks!

please help me.. i have a cable internet access in one of my laptop here in our home..but i only used it twice a week so i decided to lend it to my cousin who has also a laptop so that i can maximize what i have paid every month. but when i connect the modem to her laptop the network does not seems to identify it and the it cannot identify any connection.. what should i do?? do you have any idea with it..sorry i am only a newbie with computers but please help me.. any suggestion ,tips and,help will deeply appreciated..im from philippines and my internet provider is comclark..THANKS!!

I want to connect my laptop to the desktop computer’s network wirelessly but I don’t know how. On my laptop its connect router’s network but I can’t connect it to the desktop’s network. There’s two separate networks but I can get both computers connected to one. Is there a way to do that? The desktop computer is connect to the cable modem and the router.
