Is it true that I’ll need to purchase a full version of Access 2007 for each system? That’s a lot of money. Is there any legal way to get around this???

(Maybe opening files on other computers with Excel or something? )

I’m a newbie with MS office software, thanks for any answers!

I have a workbook where I keep up-to-date sports information. As of last week, I’ve been restructuring the layout of several tables and there is much to do. Anyway, as I’ve been using the mouse to select a range of cells to cut – or copy – and paste, there is a certain point where the scrolling stops and takes an excruciatingly long time to finish.

After trying this and that to find out what its about, I happended to move the cursor to an invisible object. It turns out that its a picture titled “Picture 56″ and I have absolutely no idea how it got there. The frustrating thing is that I can move it, change it’s size a transparency but I can’t get rid of it.

I’m the only person that uses this computer and I know that I’m the only one who accesses the workbook.

I’ve done many online searches and read up on all things Excel, but as I’m an intermediate user of Excel, I think this might be something an expert can deal with.

If it helps, the only way I got around it was to open a new workbook and to copy and paste formats and formulas. But now its back. I don’t know what I did to get it.

I perform maintenance regularly on all my pc’s and save my work to an external drive so as to keep my desktop free. I’m at my wit’s end and I could use some help.

What can be done to remove it?
No, it’s not a background because there is no “Remove Background” option in the Page Setup tab whether I have clicked on the picture or not.

ANOTHER NOTE: I realized that I copied and pasted logos for certain sheets in the workbook, but I don’t know how they traversed from the sheet I wanted them on, to the sheet that I don’t want them on.

Garbo – When I did the ALT + F11 thing, I liked where it took me, but I didn’t use it because – by that time – I had copied and pasted to a new sheet within the document and deleted the old. But I’m still interested in pursuing at least a better understanding of the process you have introduced. If you read this before I return at 9pm EST tonight 9/10, perhaps you should prepare to tell me how those aforementioned pictures that were posted on one sheet got to another sheet without my intent.
