Secretary of State Hillary Clinton testified before the State and Foreign Operations Subcommittee today on Fiscal Year 2011 Budget Request. Senator Leahy is chairman of this subcommittee and asked about Iran’s satellite jamming of broadcasts by BBC, Voice of America and Deutsche Welle. Senator Leahy asked Secretary Clinton about the Electronic Curtain the Iranian regime is using to cut Iranians access to the outside world and to each other, over social media and other communications links.
