On Christmas Eve I was up really early because my brother was up making noise (he is autistic) and I was really frustrated and thought maybe I’m not the only one, so I took to the internet. Anyway I found this post on this anonymous forum site of a boy/girl who states she hates his/her autistic brother, though I think hate is a strong word I can relate to his/her frustration. Anyway in my anger I responded to a rather for lack of better words angry comment, and to one user who titles him/herself “Concerned Citizen” who claims he/she has reported this person to the police that he/she has really no power to do so being it is an anonymous site. After that he/she threatened me by saying that he/she has reported me to the police/department of homeland security and will be investigated as a terrorist threat/for child abuse. This is a New York based site and I live in Canada, and I also want to stress the fact that I did not state anything about child abuse or harming my brother, I would never EVER, EVER harm my little brother no matter how much he frustrates me. Also I have never met this person and I’m assuming this person lives in the USA because of the whole Department of Homeland Security thing. So I’m not sure, but this person is probably just lying because he/she seems to reporting a lot of people left and right on other pages on this site. I live in Canada (obviously).

Anyway, I have utmost respect for authority whether it be police, military, mounties, what have you because I have relatives in all three. My grandfather is a policeman whom just retired not a few months back, and I showed this to him, he said I have nothing to worry about. I will give the link to the situation I am talking about and tell you that I am the user known as “Crash”. So even-though this person may just be putting me on, I was wondering if there is anybody with legal training that could tell me what could happen in this scenario. If he/she did actually report me will they basically have the mindset of “Well this person lives in Canada, the person reporting him has never met him, lives in the states and this crash person doesn’t say anything about child abuse, nor give any evidence that he/she has committed such crimes so there is no point in investigating this” Or do they not care and I’ll just be investigated anyway? Perhaps I’m just being a nervous-cowardly type, but I’m just making sure because my parents have been through hell raising my autistic brother, and I don’t want to be the source of adding more misery if I indeed did screw myself. I am usually a calm-collected person, very humble, so please don’t judge me on my language and stupidity in the moment of anger I had, I really didn’t mean to cuss as foully and as much as I did, I just snapped. I would consider it a great favour if someone overlooked my sour attitude to see that I really didn’t do aside from cussing anything wrong, if someone could give me these answers it would be so much appreciated! Anyway, please help as soon as possible, and many thanks for the answers I receive in the future!

I realize this is very long-winded but in summary:

A person on this anonymous New York based forum-website accused me of child abuse and claims that I’ve been reported to the police/Department of Homeland Security as a child-abuser/terrorist threat. When in fact I am neither a child-abuser, nor terrorist of any kind and gave no reason/evidence to be accused of such actions, other than simply telling the person to shut-up so to speak.
