I want to know if I can configure orbit downloader to run on my university network. It keeps on disconnecting everytime I connect.

One Response to “Is there a way to use orbit downloader over a computer network eg: University Network?”

  • testfriend5150 says:

Well, this could be explained with multiple reasons,

    1. Your network is blocking you
    2. The server does not allow downloads with Download managers like Orbit
    3. Your firewall is not letting the downloader through

If your network’s blocking you, you’re screwed, as only the admin on the network have access and privileges to change access and which programs to allow you through.

If the servers don’t support download managers, try downloading without one.

If your firewall isn’t allowing it, allow the program or the ports it uses to connect to the net.

You can also try port forwarding if you can access the router.
