Author: How can we govern ourselves when certian officials make decesions affecting all Americans and hide behind national security to avoid accountability to the American people? How many of us realize that there is a group of people who have no intrest in being accountable to the people of the United States of America. These people wish to subject as many Americans as they can to their hirarchal rule. Do you think they will rule in the intrests of Americans or will they rule in their own self intrests? Let me give you a hint. They will do that which they need to do in order to maintain control over the poupulation and clout among their peers. These types of people are a direct threat to an American government by and for the people.

The government already governs us.
You’re talking about republicans, and specifically the Bush Administration. Gee, and all this time I thought republicans were against more big governmental intrusion into our lives…..
Get according to the Dems, we don’t have the brains to think for ourselves so therefore they are going to do it all for us. We just have to sit there and turn over our paychecks to them. They would like to take us to the cleaners!
It depends on whether you have faith in people enough to let them govern them selfs. I don’t know.Things like fire arms I think need to be restricted to a certain extent. But personal choice should be entrusted to all citizens of all nations.
Governments like big business look out for there own interests. Just vote and have your say take interest in global issues.Thats all you can do.
In theory, we are supposed to be self-governing. However, in today’s world we know that isn’t true. Too many individual freedoms taken away each day. Too many politicians ignoring the will of the people. We elect our representatives, and they promptly forget us until 6 months before the next election.
