Author: My brother is running an internet game, and it’s ruining my broadband, he’s too retarded to notice it, so I need to block it’s internet access, how do I block the internet access of that program only??
My router is a Linksys WRT54GL.

if he is not playing on-line then simply ask him to disconnect from the router.
simple really when you think about it.

Enable the firewall.
Find out what ports that game uses and block those ports.
The best solution would be to speak to your brother and try to come to a compromise and if he fails to comply, block his entire Internet access.
u go to page and then open capability view setting put the wen adddress in and then put a password on it tahat only u would know and there u go hope it helps
Check the router for QoS settings. Set his port (wireless or wired port) to low priority, and give yourself (on another port) high priority. That should help. It won’t cut him off, but you get first dibs on network bandwidth that way, he gets what’s left over.
Enable the firewall and block the port that the game uses (easily circumvented). Or purchase a application based firewall(also can easily be turned off depending on the software).
