I recently saw an article stating that the US was 15 years behind South Korea with regards to its Internet speed and infrastructure. www.bizjournals.com This got me thinking about my old 1200 baud modem and the speeds I had throughout the year. It also made me wonder why this country outpaces everyone else in the world. So I ask… how fast is your connection? I’m in the UK, I’m paying about (£45) or US$72 per month. My download speed is 9270 kbps (1.16MB/s) and upload speed is 986 kbps (123kB/s). My broadband speed is nothing compared to broadband in South Korea…

Europa Like Sweden and Finland have very fast network European Union Law let What ever people come with technology must share for whole Europe.Depends on the country if they will spend money. Sweden was testing LTE 4G then like Poland was test 4G LTE is not yet for Poland soon cost big money rest Europe do not have money put LTE 4G rich will have fast internet .USA have Netzero still dial up people where are u live in richest country in World Internet should cost 9.99 for 10mbps (1mbps= $20)

I have a wireless HP Pavilion DV7 laptop and a Netgear Range Max Dual wireless- N router/modem combo. My ISP is At&t basic DSL.
Here are my results from Speakeasy

Download Speed: 405 kbps (50.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 235 kbps (29.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
That’s about 0.41 MBPS for Download and 0.23 MBPS for upload.

When I open my network properties and status it says i’m connected at 300.0 MBPS.
