Hamachi is a multi-platform VPN that will do what you ask
Its called a VPN. You can also kind of do it with a program called TightVNC. That will allow you to connect to your friends computer and see his screen and transfer files from his computer to yours, or vice versa.
Alliance is a good personal P2P program…
you can upload all your file using free host site like fileden.. then just put into your email the link or send the link to them.. that site is direct download
if you have xp or vista there is an option that will allow you to let someone to access you hard drive. It is commonly used for help desk people for fixing a problem. I don’t recall the exact name of it. you can use the help file to brouse the index and find the exact name. be carefull, if used improperly it could allow an unauthorized user to gain controll over your computer. the name is someting like allow a friend to help? I think it resides in the controll panel section. In windows vista it is called windows remote assistance under help and support.
