I am not vey computer literate. Im afraid to mess it up but I also cant afford to pay someone to do it. My current master drive is a 40gig…the one i found laying around in an old computer is like a 20gig..what is the easiest way to go about doing this…remember im not the greatest when it comes to installing hardware on my computer..I am running XP Pro and I have all new updates for my OS…anybody know where i can find a website to help for a computer newbie like me???

You don’t need a site to help you, this is way too easy of a task.
1. Open the case
2. Look at your other hard drive and the cables attached to it
3. Locate the other cables that look like this
4. set the jumper on your new hard drive to cable select, there should be a small guide explaining this on the hard drives label.
5. Connect the cables and turn the computer on.
6. When the drive is recognized by explorer right click on it and format it.
Done.
