Michael Thumann is the CSO of ERNW and in this video he discusses Second Life hacking. Beyond being an online game Second Life is a growing marketplace for big companies where lot of money is made. Living and acting in a virtual world gives the people the opportunity to do things they would never do in real life. Therefore it is not surprising that Second Life has increasingly attracted real world hackers. For more security-related material visit www.net-security.org

I´ve seen that video is about 1 year old now..any idea if LindenLab improved the security finally ?
They do updates all the time but did they get better ?
Viel glück dir sieht ziemlich interessant aus
Very interesting.
interesting accent to by the way
wow verry interesting.People should be more safe before putting their real money into a website.I think that linden lab should keep working the way they do and keep strenghtening the security in Second Life. Also I hate when hackers try to hack inocent games.
thanks for the video
thank you very much
just use an alt to carry money and pay that daily so you dont have many lindens in you main account – also if its card fraud related then good luck in jail
P
dont accept something free from anyone you dont know
and call LL and maybe they will hire you
Yeah I figured as much think I will be not playing it aymore thank you for the heads up!
Attacking web servers from behind Linden Lab is not purely anonymous. Headers are also sent identifying the object, owner, and location.
you should hry to hack the game so you can play it when not online but the point of this game is online play
very interesting. i thought of the spam emails myself but the idea of attacking webservers from sl is interesting, im amazed it works. although im not sure if its completely anonymous. If someone complained to linden labs they could probably trace the object in sl and linden labs would seek legal action. Also u mentioned your program was slow due to delays in second life. If you mean the second life built in delays for certain functions there is a workaround for that. Id guess u know it tho
very good video I like to keep my ears and eyes open 5 stars
THANKS, I’ll be sure to send this vid over to Linden Labs. Have a nice day lol
maybe you can use a copy bot to camp in certain spots that give you like 2 L$ every 20 minutes?
sniffing = easy = id theft = easy
thanks for this – very interesting.
