This may work on some older Sonic Walls that have fallen off support. But a newer Sonicwall it won’t. But this is a very good hack for ones that it will work on. Keep moving in that right direction and you’ll be great one day.

If they didnt change one of the defaults an ez way past content filtering is to just keep refreshing the page. If the server is busy it will let you through that is of course if they didnt change the default. Its set to if server is busy for 5 seconds allow. I know i work for sonicwall : )

  • vcbooth says:

That wasn’t a way past the content filter – that was simply a way to find the IP address of a website. The SonicWALL uses both IP and URL headers to work it out. And anyway, when you go onto the website then the links within the website contain the URL, not the IP. Durr.

    Ur a goofball.

  • gtwynet says:

Haha I remember doing this type of crap when I was a kid. You should tunnel instead. It’s more leet.

Instructions: setup a linux box at home and enable SSHd. Forward port 22 in your router to the linux box. Download “putty” at school, and put your house as host. Go into the configuration and go to SSH->Tunnels. Put 6677 in the Source Port, hit the Dynamic radio button, hit Add. After connecting, set IE’s SOCKs Proxy to 127.0.0.1 Port 6677. Browse freely!
