On my laptop its connect router’s network but I can’t connect it to the desktop’s network. There’s two separate networks but I can get both computers connected to one. Is there a way to do that? The desktop computer is connect to the cable modem and the router. Sorry if this all sounds confusing,

The problem is there is no access to any drives including the DVD drives. It lists music and so forth, but nothing for any drives. So from computer A one cannot see or even start a DVD drive on computer B. Am I missing something?
