I bought a Sansa Express MP3 player and am having some problems. I must use my computer at work because I don’t have Windows XP at home. However, for some reason I can’t update XP–it keeps saying we have a “volume” key that’s been blocked. I have no idea why. We had these computers put in over 5 years ago by a reputable company. So I don’t have Windows SP2. Will I be able to download songs into this thing or not? I tried to with Rhapsody and got nowhere fast. I’m not a computer newbie but I am an MP3 player newbie. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Currently I use Picasa just for making collages, emailing pics and loading pics to Facebook. I don’t have a clue about Picasa web albums. Just would like to know if pics uploaded to Picasa albums can be protected without me having to do it prior to upload. Sort of a newbie with computers and barely know the basics and new also, to Picasa.

i am in a grade 12 computer business class… and my project is on viruses, i know of trojan viruses, but are there any more, and if yes, how do they work? i am a newbie when it comes to computers, but be as technical as you want… please help me!!!!

or just give me the names of viruses and i will look them up on wikipedia…

oh, my teacher does not want common viruses… like worms or trojans, so anething else would be greatly appreciated… THANKS A BUNCH!!!!!
i did google viruses but there are so many… which are the ones that you ppl are most familiar with.

ok..when i try to download any program from the internet like….quicktime..i download it but then the window dissapears….before …after a download used to finish downloading the screen would staty there…how do I change it back…..I JUST WANT TO DOWNLOAD SOMETHING AND I WANT THE DOWLOADING SCREEN TO STAY THERE WHEN IT IS COMPLETED…..I DON’T WANT THE SCREEN TO DISSAPEAR…anybody..thank you

Hi, got a question about connecting a miniDV camcorder to a computer.

I wonder what I need to download video from a miniDV camcorder to a laptop? I heard I need some kind of “connector”. What is the name of that thing? Any difference between a laptop and a desktop?

Also, if I have some video on a miniDV tape, how can I get it out to a computer? Thank you..

My home is a 1920 farm house and I am trying to find the decorative type of wire fencing used around vegitable gardens and flower beds during the 20′s, 30′s and 40′s.

The fencing is about 36 to 46 inches high and has a decorative scalloped top edge and the mesh is adequate to keep small critters out of the garden.

I am a newbie on the computer and have only been able to find commercial wire fencing. I know that what I am looking for exists, I just don’t know how to find it ….

Any suggestions or sources would be appreciated so very much!
