Hi, right now I have a really old computer that can’t handle the most recent games well at all. I’m planning to buy a new computer with a new graphics card, but I’m newbie when it comes to computers. So, right now, I’ve planned to buy a prebuilt PC with a good graphics card, suggested by others from different forums. These are the products I’m looking to buy:

I’m usually playing games that involve the Source engine, such as Counter-Strike Source and Team Fortress 2.
Would the graphics card fit the PC? I’ve heard NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT was fairly big. And also would I need to upgrade the PSU on the desktop for the video card?

I have a Windows 7 64-bit laptop.
Lenovo Y570 to be exact of the model.

About two days ago, my laptop started acting a bit weird. Sometimes it would run slow, then fast again. All internet, programs, and software would randomly close down. And I even had two instances where two windows in the internet opened up though I did not click on them.

Now I’m basically a newbie when it comes to computers but I checked out the task manager and for the programs I did not know about, I searched for them. There was one, taskeng.exe, which is said to be important enough for Windows so I don’t really have my doubts about it, but I searched in my Computer for the file name taskeng.exe and came up with 8. They weren’t *running* but they are files. I have one in System32 and one in SysWOW64, I’m not sure if that’s supposed to happen. Also two in windows–>winsxs. The other 4 are MUI files and seem to correspond with the exe files I mentioned before.
I didn’t have much of ANY protection before my computer started to act up. So now two days ago I downloaded AVG and Malware. They didn’t pick up on anything.

So, do I probably have a virus? I think I probably have something since it just started acting like this out of the blue. What do I do on figuring out what it is and what to do with it?
Alright, I’ll be trying out avira first, then avast. Let’s see if it works.

I have an 8GB iPod Nano. I use my home computer and my laptop. Is it possible to have iTunes on both of them and connect my iPod to both? I’m an iPod newbie, so I’m not really sure.

I dont know much about the computer at all actually. I just thought it would be cool to learn how to upgrade computers. I know i want to change the ram to 512 mb, also what else should i replace. Dont tell me to get a new computer cause i want to upgrade the one i have. I just want to learn the basics make an experiment out of this any help would be greatly apreciated. Come on help the youth grow.
