I have played all of COD’s but after I read al thes reviews, I may not but COD: World at War. If I am right this game must have been made in China.

Technical problems with a game should not be a basis for review here on Amazon. If you cannot get the game to play then you have no basis for a review of the game. Technical problems are frustrating, but complaining here doesn’t help anyone.
As for gameplay, this version is pretty much as you would expect a COD game to be, with no big surprises or let-downs. The final few maps are fantastic. I think some of them are a bit too linear, though. Japanese banzai attacks are definitely a scary addition!
The in-game transitions and movies are outstanding. The intro will blow you away. I’m looking forward to finishing the final map (its a tough one) to unlock zombie mode.

The introductory movie shows real news footage of people being thrown into a mass grave. The first animated scene is of POW torture. At that point, I turned it off and tossed the disk. I’m hardly a prude, but it just didn’t sit right for me to this to be entertainment.

Based on every single review that I read, I can conclusively say that I will not purchase this game. I am a huge fan of COD4 and play it till my brain numbs and I was really hoping that COD5 would actually be a step up from the previous versions. (That’s usually what a business does, trys to continually improve its product). But I guess that’s what you get with Treyarch making it versus Infinity Ward. Infinity Ward actually had the baseline to improve on. This reminds me of government work, the job goes to the lowest bidder. Unfortunately in this case, the Call of Duty franchise seems to have given up way too much quality to save some cost. Booooooooo – I’m really disappointed
