I own about 30 some PC games with DRM stuff on them. Have never onced experienced a problem, and I have installed my games multiple times. I think it’s dumb that people rate this 1 star because it has DRM on it. It doesn’t ruin the game experience. Plus if you want to conplain about installing the game, eventually, the company for most PC games I have release a patch to install the game as many times as you want. Enough with stupid people complaining(who probably have horrible PCs and play this game on low), let’s go on with the game. I’m sorta disappointed with the game. The graphics are the exact same(was expecting a little better), water is the only thing that has an improvement. The physics act weird, I heard it was an Unreal Engine thing. The story is completely random, and you could play this game without playing the first one. The idea of duel wielding with Plasmids and guns is cool, but I never really took advantage of it. The game is very repetitive! It got very boring after about the 4th level(I beat the game as well). Killing Bid Daddies to get Little Sisters, only to have each Little Sister gather ADAM about 6 times each level is very repetitive. The multiplayer didn’t really catch my attention, reminds me of Team Fortress 2 really. I hope if they release a Bioshock 3, it doesn’t take place on Rapture(Rapture is old news now).

First of all, stop giving a game poor ratings just because you dont want to deal with DRM. Rate the games you play. If you cant stand DRM then you might as well just give up on PC games.
I started playing B2 yesterday and so far it is a great game. The graphics and gameplay arent much different from the first bioshock but the story is pretty involved and keeps you interested. Is it revolutionary like the first? No.
As for the install limit. There IS NO LIMIT. After you tie your CD Key to a Games for Windows Account you create, you can use that account to install the game to as many PCs as you wish. Personally, i wish they had used the steam platform for the DRM since i find that to be the best form of the DRMs since one you tie the game to your account you never need to worry about the disc again.
For those of you that have a Problem with DRM, switch to console and stop whining about it. If you can get passed that, this is a great game.

Bioshock 2 is another epic journey into Rapture. Obviously, you play as the big daddy this time. Bonus points for including multiplayer, which is actually pretty fun, aside from the noobtube. You will probably be spending countless hours with this beauty of a game.
Games for Windows LIVE adds more value to the game. If you aren’t smart enough to figure out how to make an offline profile, which usually takes less than a minute, you shouldn’t be playing PC games.

Had to write this just to offset all the DRM bad reviews. I don’t understand people who give a game one star based on DRM. Please review the game based on the game. There’s a novel idea. This game so far is a great game. It installed with no issues DRM and all and is running fine. The graphics are a little better than BioShock, the game play is the same, so far an excellent game. If you liked BioShock you should like this.

Unfortunately, the best games of the past few years have been run through Games For Windows or Steam (can you say Fallout 3? Bioshock? Half-life 2?). If these games, despite the PITA activations, can be critically hailed as best games of the year, do you think your complaints are worth the stupid allotment of one star? No, they’re not.
I even had major trouble with Fallout 3 when glitches prevented Games for Windows from updating in-game and the game wouldn’t load. Despite that issue (which I eventually solved), I thought the game itself was brilliant and I spent tons of hours playing. Same with Bioshock and other DRM-locked games. Unless you’re a thief, you don’t have any reason to gripe about this minimal issue; it takes half an hour to authorize a game unless for some weird reason you don’t have internet (and what gamer doesn’t have internet, exactly?), and you get up to 80 hours of play out of the game. So 2% of your game time is hassle, 98%+ is fun. Where’s the problem?
Bioshock2 is even cooler that the first game, with even more detail, better scene rendering and less complex gameplay. It’s immersive in the best way. There are so many worse games out there that to award a project of this caliber one star is criminal. This game may well become 2010′s game of the year…we’ll have to wait and see.
